Year End Accounts
At Nineteen Accountants we will prepare your annual accounts which will either form part of your self-assessment tax or corporation tax return.
The annual accounts are very important and show an insight into the business, we will draw attention to extreme variances within the accounts, highlight areas of concern within the accountants and how costs can be potentially cut for the forthcoming year.
We offer a competitive fixed price with flexible appointment times and are dedicated to offering a proactive, professional and personal service.
Completing a tax return can be a headache, even if there are only a few entries to make. We like to take this stressful headache away and leave you with piece of mind that the tax return will be correct, complete and filed on time.
The deadline for paper returns to be submitted is the 31st October and for online returns is the 31st January.
By giving you a fixed, competitive price and providing that you supply the relevant information within a reasonable time scale, we can take the worry away when it comes to self-assessment tax returns, allowing you to concentrate on running your business.
VAT Returns & Bookkeeping
It is very important to get the fundamentals right within this area of your accounts due to the potential penalties that can now be imposed by HM Revenue and Custom. If an over claim for VAT is made then HM Revenue and Customs can potentially charge a penalty up to 100% of the VAT over claimed.
The VAT Returns and Bookkeeping records will also form the basis of your accounts and so they should be completed as accurately as possible.
VAT doesn’t have to be confusing, there are scheme available to you to help with cash flow and compliance.
This area of taxes probably affects most employers one way or another. We can help to simplify your PAYE requirements and to minimise the compliance involved. This is especially good for small businesses with one or two directors who are looking to keep their National Insurance record up to date and to also extract some tax free money from the company.
If you or your employees are provided with Benefits In kind i.e. company cars and private medical insurance, be sure to remember that a P11D will be required for each employee/director.
Tax Enquiry Assurance (TEA)
There is a well-known myth that people think you will only get a tax enquiry if your accounts/tax return are incorrect....this is not the case. HM Revenue and Customs have the right to ask for supporting evidence to prove your submitted figures.
Tax enquires are on the increase and the process of dealing with an enquiry can be long and drawn out and also very costly. We are now offering our new product that will cover you against our fees* for dealing with a tax enquiry if it arises, offering peace of mind. Remember these enquiries are completely random!
*Our fees means accountancy fees, not any penalties or additional tax due
